Net-m5U: Hybrid a LLM and CNN Architecture for Precise m5U Site Detection

Introduction

The 5-methyluridine (m5U) modification in RNA plays an essential role in a wide range of biological processes. Therefore, the precise identification of m5U has emerged as a key focus in the field of computational biology. We created a dual-channel model for the first time. We combined a pre-trained LLM Transformer with CNN-based feature extraction. This model achieves high accuracy in identifying m5U modification sites. .
